About Our Founder


Roberto Cruz is the founder of Skanna Solutions, LLC. He founded the company as a result of his expertise and 18 years of experience.

He is a Hyland Software ex-employee with high knowledge in system administration, customer solution development, technical client consultation, technology information, and business process improvement. He worked in conversions, OnBase Infrastructure Design and Support, migration, and installing OnBase servicer components with SMS administrators for software deployment. He is an expert at installing, configuring, and fixing any technical issues.

With 18 years of experience, he spent the first seven years as OnBase Administrator at Universal Insurance. He made the conversion from Infoimage to OnBase, assisted with OnBase Infrastructure Design and Support, OnBase migration, and installation, configured required OnBase server components with SMS administrators for software deployment, and managed small IT and ECM projects aligned with business objectives.

He also worked at Hyland Software for six years, where he worked as an Associate Test Analyst, International Quality Assurance, and Associate and Cloud Solution Specialist. He was the team-leading technical expert and assisted colleagues with troubleshooting technical issues.

As a Cloud Solution Specialist, he provided quality solutions to international partners, took ownership of a group of customers, and supported the customers' OnBase Cloud Infrastructure.

After leaving Hyland Software, he worked as an OnBase Administrator and Analyst, giving several companies an OnBase Technical Consultant in the field of insurances, accounting, telecommunications, construction, government, etc. He improved the company's process by designing, developing, and maintaining workflows and reporting dashboards. Also, coordinate migrations and work with employees to facilitate accurate usage of applications, ensure compliance with company and industry requirements, provide troubleshooting for escalated issues and work with management business units and vendors to meet Service Level Agreements. Roberto provides essential general technical support that includes OnBase installs and setting up OnBase security roles.

He also managed small IT and ECM projects with companies in insurances, accounting, telecommunications, construction, government, among others. He is certified in System Administrator, Installer, Support Engineer, Workflow Engineer, Workview Developer, IBM WebSphere, ECMp, and IBM System Administrator.
